Account data
We store your email address, to sign you in and to contact you about your account. If you save your business details so they fill themselves in, we store those too, and you can change or clear them at any time. Where you have switched invoice saving on, we also keep the customers you save, your unfinished form, and the invoices you create together with the files we generated for them. All of it is deletable by you, and all of it is deleted when you switch saving off. Beyond that we keep only what running the service requires: usage counts, billing identifiers from our payment provider, and IP addresses used to prevent abuse. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your data.
Invoice data
Invoice content is processed in memory. Files you upload are deleted the moment they're processed, including when something goes wrong. A batch is the one case where an uploaded file has to be stored at all: batches run in the background, so the file is held only until its conversion finishes, and is deleted then. Files we generate for you are deleted in the same way, unless invoice history is switched on, which is described below.
Invoice history
Invoice history is your choice. If you switch it on (it is on by default and you can turn it off in your account at any time), we keep the invoices you create, and their files, so you can find them again. Switch it off and nothing is kept: invoices are built, checked, handed to you and forgotten. Deleting an invoice deletes its files immediately.
Hosting
The service runs on servers in the European Union, in Frankfurt, Germany.
