Create an XRechnung for free

You need an XRechnung but do not want to buy or set up accounting software for it? For the occasional invoice that is not necessary at all. You can create a valid XRechnung for free in your browser. All it takes is entering the invoice data cleanly once.

What to have ready

Before you start, gather the usual details. Then filling it in goes quickly:

• your own details: company name, address, VAT ID or tax number, and your IBAN
• your customer's address and, for public authorities, the routing ID (Leitweg-ID)
• the invoice number, the invoice date and, where relevant, the delivery date
• the individual line items with quantity, unit price and the correct tax rate

How it works

You enter this data into a form, and the program produces the valid XML from it. The decisive step comes next: the finished file is checked against the norm EN 16931 before you download it. That way you never get a file that is rejected later. What is checked is checked.

That is exactly how Invograde works. Creating is free, it runs in the browser, and you do not need to install any software. You can download your invoice as an XRechnung 3.0 (UBL or CII) or, if your customer prefers a readable PDF, as a ZUGFeRD/Factur-X PDF.

Two things we say openly: first, we check only against EN 16931 and the German rules. That is what we can seriously promise. Second, we do not transmit or send your invoice; that stays in your hands. And we store your invoice data only if you explicitly want us to.
